Andy is a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology, the associate Dean of Students, and the Associate BEd(PVE) program coordinator at the Education University of Hong Kong.

​Andy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta, Canada. He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Social Sciences degree in Psychology of Education from the City University of Hong Kong.

Andy has years of teaching experience in secondary and tertiary education with positions such as a subject vice-panel chairperson, a discipline team teacher, a course designer, and a program coordinator. He is proficient in various elements of teaching such as conducting lessons with cultural heterogeneity, handling students' diversity, pedagogical strategies, lesson planning, delivery, and assessments. Besides, he has an ample amount of experience in education program management including planning, staffing, analysis, course revamps, and execution, quality assurance in education, and coaching teachers.

Andy strongly believes proper guidance can nurture students' cognition, creativity, and personal advancement. He is interested in investigating the prospect of creating more effective teaching and learning environments, motivation in teachers and students, metacognition, parenting techniques, and student-centered pedagogies.
